Masingita Mall developed by the Masingita Property Group wins for new development in Africa Property Awards
The design concept for the architectural language of the shopping centre is rooted in nature and the landscape of the surrounding area as well as the natural vegetation that existed on the site before development started. Inspiration was drawn from the structure of the trees. The sweeping roof emulates the tree canopies which is then supported by structural “tree” columns which become feature elements in themselves at the entrances to the shopping center.
